Dengan mengusung desain sporty, Nokia E5 dilengkapi fitur yang lebih menarik tapi tetap dengan citra ponsel bisnis yang dimiliki Nokia. Meski tampilan eksterior hampir mirip secara menyeluruh seperti letak ragam port yang sama dengan seri E kebanyakan, tapi E5 lebih unggul di kamera 5MP, dan juga untuk fitur email, pengguna bisa mengakses hingga 10 akun lebih.  Tidak ketinggalan juga dengan kelengkapan navigasi petunjuk suara dan panduan suatu kota secara rinci. Untuk aplikasi kantor, ada aplikasi Quick Office untuk melihat dan mengedit Microsoft Office. Dan, untuk sinkronisasi dokumen dan file lainnya, Nokia E5 kompatibel dengan PC yang pengguna miliki. Fantastis memang karena user tidak perlu lagi khawatir akan kehilangan pesan elektronik. Keunggulan fitur Nokia E5 lainnya adalah tersedianya built-in penerima Assisted-GPS. Disini, pengguna dapat menemukan sebuah lokasi dengan mudah, lewat Ovi Maps.
Bukan hanya unsur bisnis yang diutamakan, tema multimedia pun diunggulkan dengan melengkapi fitur kamera E5  dengan kapasitas 5 MP yang ditambah fixed-focus dengna lampu flash jenis LED. Tambahan lainnya adalah memori internal sebesar 256 MB dan memori pendukung 32 GB, yang terbilang cukup besar utnuk penyimpanan foto, musik dan file penting lainnya.

Harga Nokia E5 di Indonesia secara resmi belum diumumkan. Namun infonya Nokia E5 akan mulai tersedia pada kuartal ketiga tahun 2010 ini dengan banderol harga sekitar 180 Euro atau sekitar Rp 2,3 Jutaan.
