Meego 1.2 Requires 600 MHz Processor & 512 MB RAM

MeeGo OS – You continue to monitor MeeGo Radar? Any word about the brand-new smart phone OS concoction Nokia, Intel and AMD are.
My Nokia Blog preach MeeGo version 1.2 requires that at least the machine is equipped with 600 MHz processor, 512 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM.
Also Meego 1.2 also requires the GSM / HSPA. CDMA is not yet supported by MeeGo 1.2 and seems to support the new CDMA will be presented by Meego 1.3.
The bad news, MeeGo new 2.1 will be released in April 2011. It gives a new release to manufacturing mobile phones and developers.
Yep, still we wait long enough to see MeeGo phones on the market.

MeeGo OS Nangkring di Nexus One, Dell Streak dan HTC Desire

MeeGo, platform OS kolaborasi (Intel) Moblin dan (Nokia) Maemo kini dapat dicicipi melalui sejumlah perangkat Android. Porting MeeGo untuk Google Nexus One, Dell Streak dan HTC Desire telah tersedia untuk dicoba.
Dibanding Dell Streak dan HTC Desire, porting MeeGo untuk Nexus One nampaknya lebih intens digarap. Namun demikian UI MeeGo belum memanfaatkan akselesari hardware yang dimiliki oleh Nexus One, sehingga Meego berjalan lebih lambat dibanding Android.
Porting MeeGo tersebut dihadirkan oleh team XDA-Developers. Hal yang wajar jika  masih ditemui sejumlah error. Namun sebagian besar fungsionalitas perangkat dilaporkan masih berjalan dengan baik.
