Samsung Galaxy Player 50 Saingan iPod Touch

Samsung Galaxy Player 50 – Galaxy Player (YP-G50) merupakan PMP (Portable Media Player) Android yang diramu oleh Samsung. Galaxy Player pernah dipamerkan di IFA Berlin beberapa waktu lalu.
PMP Android dari Samsung ini akan menjadi salah satu lawan yang layak bagi  iPod Touch.
Samsung Galaxy Player hadir dengan Android Eclair serta dilengkapi dengan layar 3.2 inch, Camera 2 Mpix, DLNA, WiFi, 8 GB/16 GB Internal Memory, Micro SD Slot, GPS, SoundAlive, DivX Support dan Radio FM.

Galaxy Player dijadwalkan akan mulai beredar pada bulan ini. Belum ada rincian negara mana saja yang akan disambangi oleh Galaxy Player. Sejauh ini dilaporkan salah satu retailer di Perancis telah membuka pre order Galaxy Player.

BlackBerry PlayBook, pesaing tablet iPad telah resmi diperkenalkan oleh RIM. Perangkat ini memiliki spesifikasi dan fitur yang berbeda dari iPad. Mari kita lihat review PlayBook singkat untuk mengetahui apa saja yang dibawa oleh produk RIM ini.
BlackBerry PlayBook berukuran lebih mungil daripada pesaingnya. Bandingkan ukurannya 130mm x 193mm x 10mm dengan layar 7 inci dengan iPad yang memiliki dimensi 242.8mm x 189.7mm x 13.4mm. selain itu,

Selain itu, PlayBook juga memiliki 2 buah kamera, 3MP camera depan dan 5MP camera belakang. Dua buah kamera ini sangat mendukung fitur multimedia PlayBook, Video Coference. Fitur multimedia dan komponen tersebut tidak terdapat pada tablet besutan perusahaan Kanada, RIM.
Prosesor PlayBook dan iPad sama-sama mengandalkan kecepatan 1GHz, tetapi kapasitas RAM mereka berbeda. Kapasitas RAM Playbook mencapai 1 GB dibandingkan dengan iPad 256MB. Untuk spesifikasi lain PlayBook seperti kapasitas harddisk, daya tahan baterai, dan harganya belum diketahui. Kapasitas iPad mencapai 64GB dengan daya tahan baterai yang mencapai 10 jam.
Meskipun BlackBerry PlayBook memiliki berbagai fasilitas hiburan, perangkat ini diperkenalkan sebagai perangkat bisnis. PlayBook telah terintegrasi dengan berbagai aplikasi bisnis dari Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, dan SAP melalui platform WebWorks dan Blackberry Enterprise Application Middleware(BEAM) serta berbagai sistem enterprise. Playbook juga lebih ringan dibandingkan dengan iPad, 0,4 kg vs 0,68 kg–0,73 kg.
PlayBook juga telah memiliki Adobe Flash Player 10.1 yang sangat berguna dalam mendukung berbagai aplikasi multimedia dan games secara interaktif. Sedangkan Apple pernah mengumumkan bahwa iPad tidak mendukung Adobe Flash.
