Listen to and record over 40,000 radio stations including thousands of AM/FM local stations on your iPhone, iPod. The reliability is excellent as long as you can keep your iPad in range of a WiFi or 3G signal. There are some pretty well documented connectivity issues with the iPad but in our tests TuneIn will play seamlessly with just one bar of signal.

This is without doubt one of our all time favourite iPad apps. The UI is absolutely sumptuous with perfectly executed transitions and animations, which give the app a real veneer of absolute quality.

Unlike the iPhone app it won't keep playing once you exit the app, but we're sure an update will appear when iOS 4.2 for iPad eventually arrives that'll hand you this functionality. (knowyourmobile.com)

TuneIn radio is the iPad's best radio app and actually turns your iPad into a better digital radio than most £100 models you'll find in John Lewis. No really.

The UI is absolutely sumptuous with perfectly executed transitions and animations, which give the app a real veneer of absolute quality. This is the definitive radio app for the iPad.
This is a real good app and it does everything promised perfectly well. But the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there is no way to export or transfer your audio recordings to a PC or MAC!

IPAD 2 Release April 2011 is estimated

IPAD 2 is expected to be launched in April 2011
